A Walk along the Trool – 2nd March 2013

We parked at Caldons Carpark, Glentrool and set off down the Water of Trool along the Southern Upland Way. The weather wasn’t great, a bit drizzly and grey.

Part of our planned walk was closed so we did a bit of a loop then back to the Water of Trool, the way we had come

We found this lovely red coloured Common Frog..

..when approached it put its hands on its head, not a great defence when you are in the middle of a footpath!
